Information we may collect
Calculator inputs
Numbers entered into calculators are used to show results on the page. If you copy or share a calculator URL, anyone with that URL may be able to see the inputs included in the query string.
Saved scenarios
Saved scenario names, calculator inputs, result summaries, and saved timestamps are stored in your browser on the device you use. They are not synced to a FeeProofed account.
Workspace data
Workspace fee profiles, product names, SKUs, costs, labor estimates, prices, quantities, and imported CSV rows are stored locally in your browser. FeeProofed does not receive that workspace data unless you choose to send it through the contact form or email.
Contact messages
If you submit the contact form or email FeeProofed, we may receive your name, email address, reason for contact, subject, message, page URL, source links, screenshots, and any other details you include.
Email delivery and optional records
Contact form messages are delivered by email. If optional contact storage is configured, a copy of the message may also be stored with basic anti-abuse and follow-up data, such as timestamp, status, user agent, and a non-plain-text request identifier.
Technical and usage data
Hosting providers, browsers, analytics tools, and security systems may process IP address, device type, pages visited, referrer, approximate location, and performance data.
Cookies and browser storage
The public calculator experience does not require an account cookie. The site may use browser storage for saved scenarios, workspace rows, preferences, analytics, security, or site reliability.
How we use information
- Operate, secure, debug, and improve the website.
- Send and answer contact messages.
- Review corrections, fee updates, and calculator requests.
- Understand which calculators, guides, and workflows are useful.
- Detect spam, abuse, scraping, or technical issues.
- Maintain product and support records where needed.
Third-party services and links
FeeProofed may use hosting providers, analytics tools, browser features, email providers, search engines, and other service providers to operate the site. Calculator pages also link to official platform documentation and external resources. Those third parties have their own privacy practices, and their policies apply when you use their websites or services.
Your choices
Do not enter sensitive personal, tax, legal, account, payment, or customer information into calculators or contact messages.
Do not share calculator URLs if the URL contains private business numbers.
Use the delete controls on saved scenarios and workspace rows, or clear browser site data, to remove locally stored data from your device.
Use your browser settings to clear cookies, block non-essential storage, or limit tracking.
Email us if you want to ask about a message you sent or request deletion of contact correspondence where legally practical.
